Payton did an outstanding job as Mogley in The Jungle Book. I was impressed with the production. Organizing 60 kids into a musical in 5 days is an amazing task. Kudos to the directors and staff for their efforts.

STATE TRACK MEET RESULTS
Sutten Garnett (Soph) placed third in the 1600 Meter Run. It was an awesome race. She was in 4th place the entire race until the end. She was behind about 10 meters with 100 to go and passed the other girl at the tape. She will be taking the bronze medal back to Spearman. Her brother, Kegan, placed 6th in the triple jump and Christy Lang was 7th in the pole vault.

STATE TRACK MEET
We are finally in Austin. It takes over 9 hours to get from the North Pole to Austin. Luckily, we went to Abilene Wednesday night and spent the night. Shannon took Payton to the doctor and he got a good report on his burn. She joined us in Abilene and came to Austin with us. Keegan triple jumps tomorrow and the girls have their events on Saturday. We are having a good time. RT
